Ils constituent donc des variables climatiques cruciales qui n\u00e9cessitent une observation \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle mondiale afin de surveiller l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la composition atmosph\u00e9rique et les impacts climatiques potentiels.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Cette \u00e9tude examine l&rsquo;<strong>origine<\/strong> et la <strong>variabilit\u00e9 des a\u00e9rosols sur l&rsquo;\u00eele tropicale de La R\u00e9union<\/strong>.Les donn\u00e9es proviennent du <strong>photom\u00e8tre solaire<\/strong> du site de Saint Denis (AERONET) r\u00e9colt\u00e9es entre mai 2007 et d\u00e9cembre 2019. Elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es avec un mod\u00e8le de r\u00e9gression lin\u00e9aire pour \u00e9tudier les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des a\u00e9rosols et leurs facteurs d\u00e9terminants dans cette r\u00e9gion peu document\u00e9e.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">L&rsquo;analyse de l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur optique des a\u00e9rosols \u00e0 440 nm (AOD440) et de l&rsquo;exposant d&rsquo;\u00c5ngstr\u00f6m (\u03b1) entre 500 et 870 nm indique que les sels marins repr\u00e9sentent les valeurs de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 La R\u00e9union (AOD440 : respectivement 0,06 \u00b1 0,03 et 0,61 \u00b1 0,40, de d\u00e9cembre \u00e0 ao\u00fbt). Ces <strong>valeurs de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sont principalement modul\u00e9es par les panaches de combustion de biomasse <\/strong>(BB) <strong>passant au-dessus de l&rsquo;\u00eele<\/strong>, qui ont doubl\u00e9 l&rsquo;AOD440 (jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 0,13 \u00b1 0,07 et 1,06 \u00b1 0,34, respectivement, en octobre). Ceci est corrobor\u00e9 par les distributions granulom\u00e9triques des a\u00e9rosols r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es, qui montrent que le mode grossier domine la concentration volumique totale pour l&rsquo;AOD440 inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 0,2 (rayon moyen de 3 \u03bcm), tandis que le mode fin domine au-dessus de 0,2 (rayon moyen de 0,15 \u03bcm).<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Cette analyse nous permet d&rsquo;estimer que <strong>l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 de combustion de la biomasse est le principal facteur contribuant \u00e0 la variabilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;AOD440 au-dessus de La R\u00e9union<\/strong> (67,4 \u00b1 28,1 %), <strong>suivie par les a\u00e9rosols marins<\/strong> (16,3 \u00b1 4,2 %) <strong>et les structures atmosph\u00e9riques \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle<\/strong> (5,5 \u00b1 1,7 %).
